Shifty Shellshock, Lead Singer of Crazy Town, Dies at 49

Former reality star found dead in his Hollywood home at age 49

Los Angeles, CA - June 24, 2024

Seth Binzer, better known by his stage name Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of the late-1990s rap-rock band Crazy Town, was found dead in his Hollywood home on Tuesday, June 24, 2024. He was 49 years old. The cause of death has not yet been released but an autopsy will be performed.

Binzer was best known for his work with Crazy Town, which rose to fame in the early 2000s with their hit song "Butterfly". The band went on to release two albums, "The Gift of Game" and "Darkhorse", before disbanding in 2003.

Binzer went on to pursue a solo career and also appeared on several reality TV shows, including "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and "The Surreal Life". He also co-founded the band The Brimstone Sluggers in 2015.

Binzer's death is a sad loss for the music community. He was a talented musician and songwriter and his songs will continue to be enjoyed by fans around the world.
